Xbox has secured exclusive game streaming rights for Grand Theft Auto 6 at launch, according to reports from Kotaku, IGN, and The Verge. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma reportedly announced the agreement to employees during an all-hands meeting. The deal means Xbox Cloud Gaming will be the only cloud streaming service offering the title when it launches on November 19. [1][2][4][5]

The arrangement provides an immediate workaround for personal computer players, Kotaku and IGN reported. Although Grand Theft Auto 6 is not releasing natively on PC at launch, users will be able to stream the game to PCs, smart TVs, and mobile devices through the Xbox cloud service. [1][4]

Sharma stated to staff that Microsoft was preparing to do something around the game that no other platform holder is doing, according to Pure Xbox and The Verge. The reports noted that it remains unclear how long the cloud streaming exclusivity window will last. [1][2][5]
