The fighting game tournament Evo France is relocating from Nice to Paris for its third edition, scheduled for Oct. 22-24, 2027. Promoters New Esports Org., also known as NEO, announced the venue change on Sunday at the close of the 2026 event at the Palais des Expositions in Nice. The Esports Advocate and Riviera Radio both reported the move, which marks the exit of the event from its original host city. [1][2]
Organizers cited the need for a larger venue to accommodate growth. According to The Esports Advocate, total registrations grew by 15 percent, although player entries declined in every returning game title. A specific venue in Paris has not yet been selected by the organizers. [1]
NEO operates the tournament on behalf of RTS, an esports company owned by Saudi Arabia's Qiddiya project that holds the rights to the Evo fighting game championship circuit. The Esports Advocate reported that NEO began running operations in March and will manage the French stop as part of the broader international circuit. [1]
