Professional wrestler Danhausen clarified why he trademarked his signature face paint design after fans speculated he planned legal action against collectible card game Magic: The Gathering. Dexerto reported on November 3 that an interview clip from 2025 resurfaced online, prompting backlash from fans who believed his trademark targeted a Magic: The Gathering card design. [1]
During the interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Danhausen stated he was already using his signature black-and-white face paint before noticing similar artwork. Dexerto, Wrestling Inc., and TPWW all reported on his response to the resurfaced claims. Wrestling Inc. and TPWW noted that the professional wrestler explained his decision to protect his custom face paint design. [1][3][4]
