Grand Theft Auto 6 content details emerge following pulled rating listing

A pulled European age rating and developer interviews have revealed new details regarding mature content and satirical elements in Grand Theft Auto 6.

New details about Grand Theft Auto 6 have emerged after age rating descriptions were briefly published online. According to VGC and Forbes, Europe's PEGI rating board published an 18 rating for the upcoming title from developer Rockstar Games before removing the listing from its website. [2][11]

VGC and Forbes both reported that the removed PEGI listing confirmed Grand Theft Auto 6 contains sex scenes and prominent drug use. VGC further noted that the rating described realistic violent combat, with specific weapons capable of causing decapitation. [2][11]

Separately, former Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser explained that he is actively avoiding watching media coverage of the game. Speaking to Variety's Strictly Business podcast, as reported by Dexerto and VGC, Houser said he has not watched the 27-minute extended preview so that it does not disrupt his work at his new studio, Absurd Ventures. In addition, PC Gamer reported that protagonists Lucia and Jason were featured in a fashion magazine spread. The outlet stated that the appearance confirms the game will continue the franchise tradition of satirical depictions of modern culture. [1]
