Sony announced the Prism Collection of translucent accessories for the PlayStation 5 on October 28, 2026. Dexerto and The Verge Games both reported that the line includes DualSense wireless controllers and matching console covers that reveal internal components. [1][2]

The design revisits clear gaming hardware popular in the late 1990s. The Verge Games and VGC both reported that the accessories will feature three color options named flare orange, emerald green, and graphite gray. [1][2][7]

Dexerto confirmed that Sony provided pricing and release details for the hardware. Preorders for the new range are set to begin on November 10, according to The Verge Games. [1][2]
