An unofficial native PC port of Nintendo's GameCube action-platformer Super Mario Sunshine has been released, according to DSOGaming. The fan project allows players to run the game natively on PC without using emulation software. [1]

DSOGaming reported that the port supports both Windows and Linux operating systems. The release includes a launcher that manages initial setup, graphics settings, controller configurations, and other game options. [1]

The native port offers visual enhancements over original hardware, according to DSOGaming. Players can render the game at up to eight times its original GameCube resolution. [1]

As FTMQ Gaming reported earlier, unofficial native PC ports of classic console games have become increasingly common, following a similar project to bring Konami's cancelled PlayStation 4 demo P.T. to Windows. [3]
