PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe subscribers can now access a free trial for 007 First Light on PlayStation 5. IGN and Instant Gaming News both reported that developer and publisher IO Interactive released the trial to give players access to the game on the PlayStation 5 platform. The trial offers a limited portion of the title to potential players ahead of the holiday season. [1][2][8]

The trial lasts for one hour of play time. According to IGN, players who download the trial can complete the prologue of the game and experience Bond's training sections. IO Interactive released the trial alongside discounts for the full game to attract new buyers during the end-of-year period. [1]

The release comes as Sony updates its subscription service tiers for November 2026. PlayStation LifeStyle reported that monthly games for PlayStation Plus Essential began rolling out globally on November 3, starting in Japan and Asia. PlayStation LifeStyle also reported that a native PlayStation 5 port of Metro Redux joined the PlayStation Plus Premium catalog as a classic title. [4][6]
