Roblox Corporation reported its third quarter financial results for the three months ending September 30, 2026. According to The Hype Magazine, revenue for the online gaming platform rose 16 percent year over year to $1.572 billion. However, platform bookings dropped 12 percent year over year to $1.697 billion. [1]

The Hype Magazine reported that the $1.697 billion in bookings beat the internal guidance range set by Roblox. The company had previously projected third quarter bookings to land between $1.58 billion and $1.65 billion. Bookings measure the total value of virtual currency sold on the platform before it is recognized as revenue. [1]

Roblox stated that the year over year bookings drop was due to comparison issues following exceptional platform growth in 2025. The Hype Magazine reported that bookings were still up by more than 50 percent compared to the same quarter two years ago. [1]
