Team Vitality pauses LFL participation and closes academy team Vitality Bee
Team Vitality has paused its League of Legends French league operations and closed Vitality.Bee as the competition faces uncertainty over its 2027 tournament operator.

Esports organisation Team Vitality announced on October 9 that it is pausing its activities in the Ligue Française de League of Legends and closing its academy roster, Vitality.Bee. Esports Insider reported that the move makes Team Vitality the second French organisation in three days to step back from the regional League of Legends competition. [1][2]
Team Vitality stated that the decision is a pause rather than a permanent departure from the league. Vitality.Bee has competed in the Ligue Française de League of Legends, an official European regional league, since the tournament launched in 2019. [1]
The announcement follows a decision by Ici Japon Corp Esport on October 7 to cease operations at the end of 2026. Esports Insider and The Esports Advocate both reported that two teams have stepped back within three days while the operator for the 2027 season remains unannounced. [1][2]
