Antonblast launches on PlayStation consoles on October 15

The side-scrolling action platform game Antonblast will release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on October 15. Gematsu and Noisy Pixel both reported that developer Summitsphere and publisher Joystick Ventures announced the release date for the Sony consoles. [1][6]

Antonblast first launched for PC through Steam on December 3, 2024. A version for the Nintendo Switch console followed shortly after on December 13, 2024, according to Gematsu. [1]

The game was funded through a Kickstarter campaign before its initial launch. It is the second entry in the Anton series following Antonball Deluxe. The story follows a demolitions expert named Dynamite Anton and his coworker Dynamite Annie as they work to recover stolen spirits from Satan and a mole army. [7]

Summitsphere founder and game creator Tony Grayson said in a statement reported by Gematsu that bringing the title to PlayStation 5 was a major personal achievement, noting that the original PlayStation console had influenced his childhood. [1]
