Modder releases Aqua Exitus mod adding motorboats to STALKER 2

PC players can now pilot watercraft in STALKER 2 following the release of a fan-made modification called Aqua Exitus, DSOGaming reported. Created by a modder known as stantravels, a modification, or mod, is a custom user-created addition that alters how a game functions. The creation adds three distinct motorboats to various waterways across the game world. [1]

Each boat introduced in the Aqua Exitus modification features its own visual appearance and full operating controls, according to DSOGaming. Players can accelerate, slow down, brake, reverse, and steer the vehicles. The boats can be discovered in any order, though players can also ask a character named Lens for assistance after completing the prologue and unlocking the exits from the Lesser Zone area. [1]

STALKER 2 is a first-person shooter survival horror game developed by the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World. The series takes place in an alternate version of the Chernobyl exclusion zone in Ukraine, where a fictional second disaster altered the region's environment and spawned hazardous anomalies, valuable artifacts, and hostile mutants.
