Developer Grimlore Games will release the full 1.0 update for action role playing game Titan Quest 2 in January, PCGamesN reported. The update will add the final chapter of the main story alongside the title's first endgame activity, which refers to challenges designed for players who have completed the primary campaign. The action role playing game has been in early access, where players can buy and play an unfinished build during active development, for more than a year. [1]
The upcoming patch brings adjustments to masteries, itemization, and enemy variety, PCGamesN reported. Grimlore Games stated that the new endgame features aim to provide an incentive to keep playing after the narrative concludes. However, the studio emphasized that it does not intend to turn the title into a season-based endgame grinder. [1]
Titan Quest 2 serves as the sequel to the original 2006 action role playing game Titan Quest, which was developed by Iron Lore Entertainment and published by THQ for Windows. The series features hack and slash combat set against ancient mythology. The original game used a dual mastery system that allowed players to combine two distinct skill trees to build custom character classes. [4][6]
The 1.0 launch in January will complete the main story campaign for players on PC, PCGamesN reported. Grimlore Games has not announced a specific day in January for the full release. [1]
