Tekken 8 adds Roger Jr in November with Baki crossover planned

Publisher Bandai Namco has announced new details for Season 3 downloadable content in Tekken 8, introducing the returning boxing kangaroo Roger Jr and showcasing a crossover character from the manga series Baki the Grappler. A trailer for the fighting game was shown alongside the Evo France 2026 event. [1][2][3]

Outlets differ on the exact release dates for the new fighter. According to Push Square, Roger Jr enters early access on 12 November before launching for all players on 17 November. However, Gematsu and IGN both report that Roger Jr will launch for Season 3 Character Pass owners on 11 November, followed by a general release on 16 November. Push Square noted that the character utilizes an acrobatic and stomp-based moveset. [1][2][3]

The trailer also included the first reveal of Yujiro Hanma, who joins the roster as part of a crossover with Baki the Grappler. Push Square reports that Yujiro will arrive in the winter. IGN noted that Roger Jr follows previous Season 3 character releases Kunimitsu in June and Bob in August, though Yujiro currently lacks an exact release date. [1][3]
