A new mod for the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 called NightCoop has launched, DSOGaming reported. The modification allows up to eight players to explore the game world together and play through the entire single-player campaign in online cooperative multiplayer. The download is free to access, though DSOGaming noted that the release is currently an early alpha test version. [1]

During multiplayer sessions, every participant plays as their own custom version of the protagonist V, according to DSOGaming. Each player retains their personal character appearance, level progression, equipment, and cybernetic modifications. [1]

Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing game created by developer CD Projekt Red and publisher CD Projekt. The story takes place in the fictional dystopian metropolis of Night City, California, where players control a mercenary named V who is infected with a biochip containing the digital mind of Johnny Silverhand.
