Marvels Wolverine leads September video game sales in US

Marvels Wolverine was the top-selling game in the United States in September 2026, GamesIndustry.biz, Eurogamer and Destructoid report. Developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment exclusively for PlayStation 5, the action-adventure title achieved the highest monthly dollar sales for a Sony-published game since Helldivers 2, according to GamesIndustry.biz, Eurogamer and WN Hub. Eurogamer noted that the game topped the sales charts despite launching halfway through the month. Destructoid added that the performance came despite mixed critical reception, pointing to a score of 75 on Metacritic.
