Eurogamer reported that monthly active users across PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 hit a record high of 127 million in September, representing a seven percent increase year-on-year. Eurogamer added that Sony cited strong software sales alongside declining hardware sales for the quarter, while Tbreak UAE noted that total PlayStation 5 shipments reached 97.9 million units. The action-adventure title Marvel's Wolverine was developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment as a standalone entry in the Marvel's Spider-Man series. As FTMQ Gaming reported earlier, the game was the best-selling title in the United States in September 2026, generating the highest monthly dollar sales for a Sony-published release since Helldivers 2.
