Public relations and influencer marketing platform PressEngine is launching an in-person event named The Pre-Show, GamesIndustry.biz, GameDev.net and Mezha.net reported. The inaugural event will take place in London on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The showcase aims to put game developers directly in front of attending media and content creators. [1][2][3]

The event will preview video games scheduled to launch over the following 12 months, according to GamesIndustry.biz. PressEngine stated that over 150 specialist and mainstream journalists along with content creators will be in attendance for the event. [1]

PressEngine is positioning the physical gathering as an alternative to all-digital showcases, GamesIndustry.biz reported. The company believes that purely digital preview events have reduced hands-on opportunities for press and creators to cover upcoming titles. [1]
