A real-world version of Burger Shot, a fictional fast-food restaurant chain featured throughout the Grand Theft Auto series, is set to open inside the Kaseya Center arena in Miami, IGN and IGN Southeast Asia reported. The venue serves as the home stadium for the Miami Heat basketball team. Images and details of the restaurant location were shared online by a fan account. [1][8]

The promotion is part of a broader real-world marketing rollout by developer Rockstar Games leading into the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 on November 19. As FTMQ Gaming reported earlier, the promotional campaign in Miami is valued at 4 million dollars. Dexerto and Kotaku reported that an individual was recently terminated from his job after leaking footage of Grand Theft Auto 6 promotional beach chairs along Miami Beach. [4][5][7][13]

The promotional effort includes other fictional brands from the game series brought into the real world. PC Gamer reported that Rockstar appears to be partnering with a Florida brewery to produce physical versions of the in-game beer brands Pißwasser and Patriot. FTMQ Gaming previously reported that filings for the beverage labels were located in an official United States database. [3][13]

Player demand ahead of the launch is outpacing prior major game releases. Destructoid reported that preorders for Grand Theft Auto 6 are 148 percent higher than those of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II from 2022. Additionally, UK gym chain PureGym teamed up with personal trainer David Hope to launch a specialized thumb exercise routine to help players prepare for extended gaming sessions, according to Dexerto.
