A modder named nicklovin99 has released enRage, a new modification for Red Dead Redemption 2 that brings a Nemesis-style system to the PC game. Polygon, IGN, and DSOGaming all reported that the mod gives non-player characters personal histories and tracks how individual enemies view protagonist Arthur Morgan, creating rivalries and rival gang disruptions. [1][3][5][11]
According to IGN and Mezha.net, the creator used artificial intelligence to implement the gameplay mechanics, which were originally popularized by Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War. IGN reported that the mod names every single non-player character in the game, grouping individuals by gang while allowing some characters to like, fear, or hunt down the player. [1][3][10]
Polygon, DSOGaming, and iXBT.games reported that the modification introduces evolving gang wars, personal grudges, and enemy factions that actively seek revenge based on past encounters. Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world action-adventure Western developed and published by Rockstar Games in 2018. [1][5][9][11]
